Animals Make Our Lives! Where would be without them?

January 17th, 2024 is HT's 2nd Annual Pet Remembrance Day.

It's a day to honor those we have lost and in their honor, and save those who need us.

In our 22+ years of rescue and more than 53,000 animals saved, our hearts have been touched over and over again by each and every animal we have rescued. We have loved each one. And our fosters and adopters have given these animals the love and lives they truly deserve. You have made them part of your family and given them what every animal deserves - love.

Today we ask folks to consider a donation in honor of a pet they have lost which will be put into action immediately to save the life of another in that pet's honor. Our hearts will always be heavy with loss when a four-legged family member leaves us - it stays with us and we never forget the impact that animal left on us. The pain and loss is real. And it is unique, as is every animal we welcome into our family. And what better way to honor thatanimal than pawing it forward to save another?

Please share and consider a donation in honor of your pet. And send us a note with a photo of your pet so we can join you in remembering that amazing animal to info@homewardtrails.org.

Donations of $125 or more will get a special "Remembrance Day Hero" recognition on our Facebook page where we will post the pet's photo, a short bio, and honor his or her life and your effort to save another in his or her honor. You will also be entered into a raffle to win one of two prizes:
